Milal celebrated the past year's ministry in its recent end-of-year gathering on December 14.

As 2014 draws to an end, Milal Mission held the "Milal Family End-of-Year Gathering' to celebrate the past year.

On December 14 at 5 PM, the gathering at Milal's Atlanta office began with a word of praise and thanksgiving from Dae-Keun Choi, one of the leaders of Milal. The gathering proceeded with photos of Milal's ministry in 2014, a word of welcome from chairperson Hee-Yang Lee, a prayer by Yang-Sun Yang, the vice chairperson of Milal, and a sermon by Pastor Do-Young Yoon.

Yoon spoke on Galatians 5:7-10, with the sermon title, "Tomorrow is the Result of Today," and focused on three types of labor.

"In our lives, there are three major types of labor. The first is physical labor, which includes business, work, and the like. The second is laboring in people, which would include education. And the third is spiritual labor. Of the three, spiritual labor is the most important, and we need to thrive in it the most. We reap what we sow, and when the time is right, we will reap. I pray and hope that Milal's ministry will have the same heart, and that as Milal continues to sow for the souls of men, that they will reap abundantly."

The gathering included a time of thanking and encouraging those who had served in Milal for the past year.

Numerous people were awarded for their particular areas of service, including Ji-Sung Moon, for his volunteer service in Milal's Class of Love program; Young-Sup Lee (for painting), Ki-Hye Kim (for recording books), Ho-Kyung Choi (for service as treasurer), Hyun-Suk Hong (for hair styling) were awarded letters of appreciation; Maria Jang, Hyung-Ryul Lee, Jung-Hee Lee, Hong-Chul Son, Wozniak, and Hyun-Ji Ha were awarded plaques of appreciation.

Seung-Hyuk Lee, who has been part of the Milal family and will now be entering college, was awarded a scholarship in which he will receive $300 per month, making a total of $3,600 per year, from a combined effort by Milal's Scholarship Foundation and Atlanta's Milal office.

Meanwhile, Milal will be beginning the new year with a hiking event on Stone Mountain on January 1st.
