The Milal Mission of Southern California have been donating scholarships to a hundred students every year since their inception in 2001. This year around 160 thousand dollars were given to 102 students that were selected.
The Milal Mission have been donating money for students with disabilities, full-time-workers, Korean international students and even Third World students from countries like the Philippines.
The organization raised the scholarships by holding an event called "Night of The Milal" where the popular CCM singer, Sohyang was invited to perform, and this year's award ceremonies took place on the 20th of January at Thanksgiving Church Korean Church.
The members of this ministry will continue to invest in the lives of students who are in need and such small acts the sides of mustard seeds will surely bring about great changes to the Christian community in Southern California.
