‘Mortal Kombat X’ PC System Requirements Revealed

Game developer NetherRealm Studios revealed the minimum and recommended system requirements for the PC version of "Mortal Kombat X." The technical details about the upcoming video game were unveiled through its Steam page.

Below are both the minimum and recommended requirements for "Mortal Kombat X" for the PC.

Minimum System Requirements:

- Operating system: 64-bit: Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8

- Central processing unit: Intel Core i5-750, 2.67GHz / AMD Phenom II X4 965, 3.4 GHz

- RAM: 3GB

- Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 / AMD Radeon HD5850

- DirectX: Version 11

- Network: Boradband Internet connection

- Available hard drive space: 25GB

Recommended System Requirements:

- Operating system: 64-bit: Windows 7, Windows 8

- Central processing unit: Intel Core i5-3770, 3.4GHz / AMD FX 8350, 4.0GHz

- RAM: 8GB

- Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 / AMD Radeon HD7950

- DirectX: Version 11

- Network: Boradband Internet connection

- Available hard drive space: 40GB

"Mortal Kombat X" is scheduled for release on April 14. Aside from the PC version, it will be available for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

Aside from the game's system requirements, NetherRealm Studios also mentioned in the game's Steam page that the four-armed half-human, half-dragon warrior Goro will be available as a pre-order bonus character. Players can purchase the Goro character through the "Mortal Kombat X" website.

Aside from Goro, the developer also announced that series regular Ermac will also appear in the latest installment of the popular game franchise, Siliconera reported.

He and Goro will be joining other main "Mortal Kombat" characters such as Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Raiden, Kung Lao, Kitana, Kano and Reptile. New character additions to the game include Cassie Cage, the daughter of Johnny Cage and Sonya Blade, the insect-human hybrid D'Vorah, the warrior pair Ferra/Torr and Kotal Kahn, the new ruler of the Outworld.
