Korean Missionaries STILL On the Rise!

A report given by the Korean World Missions Association (KWMA) revealed that the number of missionaries sent from Korea has been on the rise ever since 2004 and in 2013 the number of workers reached over 25000 men and women in around 169 countries.

The statistics are astounding because experts have estimated that Korea is becoming a more and more difficult environment to commit as a missionary, due to the difficult economy and other various social issues.

Nevertheless Korean missionaries are continuing to spread the Gospel to various corners of the globe including the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Russia, and even the United States. KWMA has also stated that Korean missionaries are most active in Asia, which also happened to still be where the presence of the Gospel is very weak.

Experts were happy to announce that Korean missionaries will continue their work throughout Asia and the world through church pioneering, medical missions and even sports.
