Best 'iPhone 6 Clone' To Date? Chinese Brand Aiming To Expand Its Market

The latest iPhone from Apple is definitely among the most powerful and gorgeous handsets available today. However, for people who cannot afford the bigger and better smartphone, this is definitely an option worth-seeing.

Consumers who just cannot get enough of iPhones but do not have the budget to buy them may look for cheaper options in China.

According to a report by Phone Arena, Chinese company LeTV is planning to launch two of its first smartphones any time soon. In the report, the company has developed smartphones that almost exaclty like the current iPhones from Apple.

LeTV is actually not a phone maker in the past, but a video platform similar to Hulu. Its very first smartphones are reportedly ripoffs of iPhones, and one should take a closer look before it can distinguish the actual iPhone from the wannabe.

In the report, the paintjob makes the device look like the latest iPhone 6, although there are some minor differences. The supposedly flat back of the iPhone is represented as curved in LeTV's model, while the rounded edges of the Apple smartphone are depicted as flat sides by the iPhone clone.

The big question now is whether the device will sell in China.

Considering LeTV's popularity in the Asian nation, that may be an easy goal to meet.

According to the report, LeTV is among China's biggest online video platforms featuring over 100,000 TV series episodes. The report also mentioned that it supplies more than 5,000 full-featured movies.

While the company has already gained attention because of its iPhone clones, the report said that LeTV is actually planning to develop an even slimmer smartphone.
