Two of Marvel universe's biggest superheroes visited the Seattle's Children Hospital on Saturday following a friendly bet made by the duo in relation to the results of the National Football League playoffs, otherwise known as the Super Bowl.

Despite the final scores, however, Chris Pratt and Chris Evans still made good with their ends of the deal to visit the charitable institutions each of them supported. Therefore, Pratt's appearance with Evans, who was wearing his Captain America costume, in the Seattle Children's Hospital last weekend proved to be their way of fulfilling their promises, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

In a post in their official Twitter account, Seattle's Children Hospital shared their excitement and gratitude over the weekend visit of Pratt, who played Star-Lord in the hit film Guardians of the Galaxy, and Evans: "A superhero size THANK YOU to @prattprattpratt & @ChrisEvans for visiting our patients today! #TwitterBowl"

However, the visit did not only thrill the fans and followers of the two superhero characters in the said hospital but also inspired and touched the heart of Captain America himself. In a post in his Twitter account following the visit, Evans shared his admiration for the patients and families he met in the hospital. "AMAZING day at @seattlechildren w @prattprattpratt. Met some TRUE super heroes! Feeling inspired, blessed, touched. Thank you w all my heart," the Avengers star posted.

Meanwhile, Pratt posted his reaction to the success of the visit on Facebook. "Had the immense joy yesterday of joining the real Captain America at Seattle Children's Hospital," the Jurassic Park actor wrote. "Thanks to Chris Evans for being a classy ?#"Žtwitterbowl winner," he added.

"I was so excited when I heard they were planning to come to Seattle Children's," shared Maggie Mittelstaedt in Pulse, the official publication of Seattle Children's Foundation. The 18-year-old patient, who is under the care of the hospital after undergoing a hip replacement surgery further added, "Guardians of the Galaxy and the Avenger movies are my favorites, so I was hoping I might get a chance to meet them."

The visit stemmed from a wager between the two stars when Evans, who is a fan of the New England Patriots, and Pratt, who is a supporter of the Seattle Seahawks, promised each other that the person who backs the losing team will comply with the demands of the winner. Evans won the bet, which prompted Pratt to wear a Tom Brady jersey during a visit at Christopher's Haven last February. However, Evans still decided to comply with the demand of Pratt to wear his Captain America outfit during a visit to the Seattle Children's Hospital despite his victory over the latter.
