The famous Korean pop star, Rain (Ji-Hoon Jung) who is known to be dating Tae-hee Kim, Korea's most popular actress is reported to have been baptized at his girlfriend's Catholic Church, reports Asia Economic. Recently, there were rumors of the two Korean stars getting married, but both their agencies officially announced that the rumors were false.

CubeDC, agency announced that Rain had been planning to be baptized for a while now. At the same time agency insiders urged his fans to not take this action as an immediate step towards marriage with Kim. Tae-hee Kim is known to be a very faithful Catholic and this was the main reason Rain decided to be baptized at a church where Kim attended along with a few acquaintances.
Rumors of the two celebrities getting married seem to have spread because of the people present at the baptism besides Rain and Kim themselves. One such person was Tae-hee Kim's father. In addition, snapshots of the two celebrities dating keep showing up on their SNS pages at places like Korean barbeque restaurants and one case where the two went on a trip to China.
Meanwhile, Rain is receiving investigation from the Republic of Korea Prosecutors' office for violating military regulations. Rain is currently serving his mandatory 2 years in the South Korean military but it has been reported that he spent a total of 71 days outside of his unit which is high above the regulated period of time a regular soldier can be on vacation. Normally an active trooper in Korea could only spend a total of 35 days outside the regiment throughout the 20 months of service.
While many fans are outraged that Rain is receiving too many benefits while serving in the army because of his position as a globally recognized star not only in Korea and Asia but even the United States, many other fans are showing very positive and hopeful reactions toward the idea of the pop star and actress Tae-hee Kim one day marrying.
Rain has been performing all over the world in both Asia and the U.S. and even starred in several Hollywood movies including Ninja Assassin and Speed Racer.
