Beloved comic book writer and creator Stan Lee has been known to make cameos in each and every movie Marvel produces, and his appearances always come as a treat for fans.

And this time in Avengers: Age of Ultron, fans will be getting a double treat since Lee himself revealed to Comic Book that he will be making two appearances in the highly-anticipated superhero flick.

"Not only am I in Age of Ultron, I'm in two scenes. One scene followed immediately by another one, so you must not miss it," he said.

A lot of questions followed right after his reveal, but Lee refused to dish out any more information. He did say that he hopes May 1 would come soon so that he could talk about his involvement in the film.

"I can't tell you. They would have to shoot me," said Lee. "For some reason, they never let me tell people what my cameo will be until after the movie, and I'm dying to talk about it."

Fans are earnestly hoping that Lee isn't simply exaggerating about his role in the upcoming movie, and that the comic book genius will actually play a meaty part this time around.

His double cameo might somewhat soften the blow for some fans who were pretty bummed that there will be no post-credit scene in Avengers: Age of Ultron.

The movie director Joss Whedon and Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige both talked to Entertainment Weekly about it and told fans not to sit through the entire credits scene because they will only be disappointed.

It has become a tradition for Marvel fans not to immediately leave the cinema once the movie wraps up but instead wait for the credits to finish rolling in order to view a special treat or preview from Marvel. But not this time.

"There is nothing at the very end. And that's not a fake-out," said Whedon. "We want people to know so they don't sit there for 10 minutes and then go: 'I'll kill them!'"

Feige added: "There will be a tag. That is, there will be a short, epilogue-like scene that pops up shortly after the credits start. But there's not a post-post-credit scene."

They have decided not to put any short clip this time around because they believe that there will be no topping the previous Avengers post-credit scene, where they showed the Avengers group enjoying some shawarma in the city.

Whedon said that the shawarma clip was a "jewel and a weird little quirk," so they do not want to chase that.
