'Gotham' 2015 TV Series Spoiler: Season 1 Episode 20 “Under the Knife” Airs on Monday Night

"Gotham,' the Batman television action drama series has only three episodes left until the 2015 season finale. The Fox television show reveals new character development in pre-existing D.C. comic's "Batman" villains and heroes. Villains and heroes in the 'Gotham' series are younger and naive versions of their fully developed D.C. counterparts. Episode 20 "Under the Knife," airs on Monday, April 20 at 8|7c.

In "Under the Knife," Gotham City's Police Department (GCPD) detective James Gordon and GCPD detective Harvey Bullock track down a serial killer with the alias "Ogre." When it is revealed to the detectives that Ogre plans on killing a woman close to Gordon, they race to save a loved one before time runs out. Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle continue in their attempt to uncover who strategically murdered Wayne's parents. Wayne and Kyle are determined it was a Wayne Enterprise employee.

The cast of the show are as follows: actor Ben McKenzie as Detective Gordon, Donal Logue as Bullock, Jada Pinkett Smith as Mooney, Sean Pertwee as Alfred, Robin Lord Taylor as Oswald Cobblepot (The Penguin), David Mazouz as Bruce Wayne (future Batman), Camren Bicondova as Selina Kyle (future Catwoman), and Milo Ventimiglia as Ogre.

"We all have it in us to be very dark individuals but hopefully we choose not to be," Ventimiglia said in an interview with ABC.

The season has 22 episodes total. "Gotham' airs new episodes and re-runs on Mondays at 8 p.m. on Fox. It won the 2014 Critics' Choice Television Award for Most Exciting New Series and the 2014 Gracie Award for Outstanding Drama.
