To say that Vin Diesel loved his Fast and Furious co-star Paul Walker would be an understatement. As far as "bromances" are concerned, those two are high up on the list. So when Walker died in a tragic car accident back in 2013, Diesel was devastated, and he is now taking every opportunity to remember and honor his good friend.

During the 2015 MTV Movie Awards, Diesel paid a touching tribute to Walker by singing Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth's song "See You Again," which was used in the closing scene of the highly popular Furious 7 movie, where Diesel's character Dominic finally said goodbye to Walker's character Brian.

"The last time I was on this stage, I was with my brother Pablo," Diesel said right before he sang. Diesel had his eyes closed the entire time he was singing, and the crowd went wild during his performance. After that, the actor shouted: "I love you guys!"

When MTV News later asked Diesel why he decided to sing on stage, Diesel said it was because of his son. "It's for my four-year-old," he explained. "He's been singing that song pretty intensely, and whenever Michelle (Rodriguez), or Nathalie (Emmanuel) or Tyrese are over at the house, he sings it for them and they start crying. So it was a homage to the little one at home."

Diesel and his wife recently gave birth to a baby girl, and they have decided to name her Pauline, after Paul Walker, so his friend's memory will definitely live on in the Diesel household.

Diesel also considers it somewhat sad that Walker is no longer around to witness the success of their latest movie Furious 7, which is currently on the race towards $1 billion at the global box office, and the movie just might be Universal's first foray into the billion dollar mark. The only other movie Universal had that came close to a billion dollars was Jurassic Park by Steven Spielberg.

"It's bittersweet, of course," Diesel said. "But the fact that the world embraced it and really allowed it to be Paul's legacy and shared that moment with us, it's just a beautiful thing."

He even explained that the next Fast and Furious movie, Furious 8 or F8, which could be read as "fate" is from Walker. The next installment in the car speed chase franchise will mark the start of a new trilogy.
