MC Mong
The popular rapper MC Mong is getting ready for his comeback. Many columnists estimated that the rapper has now started on the final touches on his most recent album and us now almost done with recording. In addition, the artist and his agency released a short film regarding the making and preparation of this album.
If all goes well, MC Mong will be returning to the stage after 4 years since his last appearance. He hopes to release his new songs and perform again by this coming fall. It has been reported that MC Mong has worked on nothing but his music for the past 4 years, and his agency told reporters that the new songs will be beyond anything his fans have seen so far, far more appealing than his past big hits.
The rapper is currently under the supervision of World Made Yedang, an agency where Je-hyung Ko is CEO, who is also the head producer of the variety department of MBC, one of Korea's leading broadcasting stations. Another agency called Dream-T Entertainment which manages other pop stars including Girls Day has been co-producing MC Mong's latest music.
It is believed that MC Mong has received many tempting offers from even some of Korea's largest agencies. MC Mong is a rapper who is also a lyricist, composer and could even arrange other original pieces. Many agencies and producers were interested in signing a contract with the artist because of his many talents.
MC Mong has disappeared from the stage and TV screen after an incident several years ago where he was caught removing several of his teeth to avoid mandatory military service. After the incident, the rapper was removed from all TV shows he was participating in and all contracts were terminated. However, many hip hop fans in and outside of Korea still remember him and are anticipating his return.
