'Fashion Police': Zendaya Speaks Up on Show's Comeback with Giuliana Rancic

After catching herself in the midst of a TV controversy, Disney star Zendaya Coleman wishes nothing but good change for "Fashion Police' as the E! show has been scheduled to return on September.

In an interview with Us Weekly about her hosting duties for this Sunday's Radio Disney Music Awards, the "K.C. Undercover' actress opened up about her hopes for "Fashion Police', following her disagreements with host Giuliana Rancic.

Zendaya strongly stated that she bears no grudge to Rancic or to the now-off-the-air TV program despite previously expressing her sentiments against the Feb. 23 episode in which Rancic said the actress must have smelled like "patchouli oil" or "weed."

Such comments came when the show hosts were highlighting celebrity fashion moments on the Oscars red carpet, including Zendaya's choice of wearing dreadlocks to the event.

"If they are able to enlighten themselves and make it a better Fashion Police, then that's positive and good. That's what we want," the 18-year-old star said when asked about the show returning this fall.

Aside from "Fashion Police', Zendaya had drawn attention to her preparations for her hosting gig at the Radio Disney Music Awards. She also opened up about one of her favorite things to do in public and that is to meet her fans.

"I love being able to connect with them and just talk to them"¦I just treat all of them like they're my friends," she shared.

After hosting the awards event, Zendaya is set to return on the set of "K.C. Undercover' in which she portrays a high school genius who helps her parents carry out their jobs as undercover spies.

As for her final say on the return of "Fashion Police', the Disney star called attention tolearning and making a good change.

"I just hope they learn and grow from it and are able to make a positive change with their show," Zendaya added. "Hopefully [they're] able to take a more positive spin and we're all able to learn from it at the same time."

After confronting Rancic through social media following the seemingly racist remarks, Zendaya eventually accepted the apologies that the E! host issued both online and on air.

However, show hosts Kelly Osbourne and Kathy Griffin, who joined the series as replacement for the late Joan Rivers, exited "Fashion Police' following the controversy.
