Lenovo K80 Specs and Features: Latest Android Handset Comes with Powerful 4000mAh Battery

Lenovo has unveiled its latest smartphone model that packs a powerful battery.

At 4000mAh, Lenovo claims that the battery of the K80 can last up to two days of regular usage without charging, NDTV reported.

The company's newest mobile device is set to hit debut exclusively in China and will cost CNY 1,499 or around $290. There are no confirmations yet if or when the K80 will be released in other countries.

Given its powerful battery, the K80 can be considered as Lenovo's answer to most users' problems regarding their devices. Many of them complain that despite their high-end features, most modern smartphones today have insufficient battery capacities.

However, due to the size of its battery, the K80 is a bit bigger than other popular smartphones currently available in the market. At 8.5 millimeters, Lenovo's mobile device is certainly thicker than Apple's slim iPhone models.

But, consumers must keep in mind that by making the K80 a bit thicker than other smartphones, Lenovo was able to provide a mobile device with a significantly better battery life.

Aside from its battery, the K80 is also equipped with a big data storage with 4GB of RAM. This feature directly pits the device against the Asus ZenFone 2, which was the first smartphone released with the same storage space, T3 reported.

In addition, the Lenovo K80 has a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 1080x1920 pixels. Like the Asus ZenFone 2, the K80 is powered by the 64-bit Intel Atom processor that clocks in at 1.8GHz.

The device has an in-built storage of 64GB and a 13-megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization. There are no details yet regarding the details of the K80's front camera.

Out of the boxy, Lenovo's latest smartphone runs on the Android 5.0 Lollipop and is available in silver, red and black color variants.
