Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Release Date and Specs News: Two New Models in 2015

According to Sam Mobile, Samsung is developing two new models for 2015. The latest models are SM-G928S and SM-N920F. Both models will feature a curved Edge display. Samsung Note 5 is expected to run on a battery-friendly processor like the Exynos. Samsung will debut its latest Android smartphones at the Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin (IFA) in Germany on September 4-9.

"It could feature a 2K or a 4K flat-screen Super AMOLED display, an Exynos 7422 processor, and the company's homegrown modem, which it is apparently very confident of at the moment. The Exynos 7422 is expected to be the company's first ever all-in-one solution (ePoP) as it will combine the CPU, GPU, RAM, storage, and modem on a single chip," reported Asif S. from Sam Mobile on Thursday, May 7.

The current Galaxy Note 4 has a 5.7" Quad high definition Super Amoled display screen. Its dimensions are 6.04" x 3.09" x .033" and it weighs 6.21 ounces. It runs on the Android 4.4 Kitkat. It comes with a sleek S Pen. The memory of the device is 3 gigabytes RAM with 32 gigabytes of internal memory. The external memory capacity is up to 128 gigabytes. Note 4 comes in Charcoal Black and Frost White.

Its rear-facing camera has 16 mega pixels and its front-facing camera has 3.7 mega pixels. The camera features Optical Image Stabilization, Selective Focus, Panorama, Virtual Tour, Real-time HDR, and Dual Camera. Users can record ultra high definition resolution videos.

The lithium ion battery life is 3220mAh and has Fast Charging capabilities. Users are allowed up to 37 hours of talk time. Music play time is up to 80 hours and video play time is up to 12 hours. Users can use the internet for up to 11 hours on 3G and LTE and up to 12 hours on Wi-Fi.

The Galaxy Note 4 has a wide-angle, 3.7MP front-facing camera so you can capture crisper selfies. And when you want to photograph anything else, the Galaxy Note 4 comes equipped with a 16MP rear camera with built-in Optical Image Stabilization. So, even when you zoom in, the details in your photo remain in focus. The central processing unit's quad-core processor speed is 2.7 giga hertz. Note 4 features ultra high quality audio with 192 KHz.
