Famed Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling has quite the hilarious reaction to Matthew Lewis' latest sexy shots in the June 2015 issue of Attitude magazine, which shows the 25-year-old actor wearing nothing but a pair of underwear that leaves little to the imagination.

To recall, Lewis plays the nerdy Neville Longbottom in the Harry Potter series. His character is loyal, true, and noble; however, he is quite clumsy and is often the subject of his peers' jokes. But Lewis has drastically changed since his Harry Potter days, and in fact, towards the end of the series, people had a tough time masking his good looks to match Neville in the movies.

On her Twitter account, Rowling told Lewis that his photos were "not as bad as watching Dan in Equus, but close. Warn me next time, for God's sake."

Harry Potter lead actor Daniel Radcliffe went full frontal in the Broadway and London productions of the psychological thriller play Equus, so for Rowling to reference it in comparison to Lewis' sexy shots was spot-on.

For his part, Lewis tweeted back to Rowling: "Well, this is awkward. Sorry, Jo..."

After this, Rowling seemed to soften significantly as she told the actor, "@Mattdavelewis I will always support you whatever you want to do, Matthew," she said. "Now go put some clothes on."

Not wanting to miss out on all the fun, Jason Isaacs, who played the evil Lucius Malfoy in the Harry Potter series tweeted, "Surely Neville Pertbottom now?"

Rowling then responded: "@jasonsfolly @Mattdavelewis I wouldn't know. I hastily averted my eyes and read an article on Political Correctness to get over the shock."

During the magazine interview, Lewis admitted that he never viewed himself as good looking and refers to his looks as quite average.

"I've never considered myself to be good-looking at all," he said.

As happy as he was to have been a part of the Harry Potter series, Lewis was still so thrilled when they wrapped up because that meant he no longer had to wear the "fat suit" under his t-shirt just to become Neville. When he showed up at the red carpet release of the last film without the "fat suit," he was shocked with how people reacted to his appearance.

"It was never meant to be a 'Hey everyone, look at me!' But it was nice to be able to go and be myself. And then obviously a lot of attention focused on it, which I didn't expect at all," he said.
