People seem to love Ant-Man's costume, but costume designers Sammy Sheldon and Ivo Coveney have admitted that there is one fatal flaw to it.

In an interview with Empire Online, the two discussed the loosely-based logistics behind the Ant-Man suit worn by actor Paul Rudd's Scott Lang. The two said that they tried to adhere to both realism and aesthetics, particularly with regards to the two crucial cables jutting out the side of his helmet.

"We had a long discussion about the two cables going into his helmet. They're a massive weakness - Yellowjacket could just rip them off and he's dead. But, in the end, it just looks cooler with them on," Coveney said.

Yellowjacket is the main villain in the upcoming Marvel movie. Behind the mask of the villain is Darren Cross, to be played by actor Corey Stoll. Just like Ant-Man, Yellowjacket has access to the "Pym Particles" that allows him to shrink in size as well; however, he uses his powers to attain his nefarious plans.

The movie is directed by Peyton Reed while script was handled by Adam McKay. It was supposed to be handled by Edgar Wright but the director decided to quit the film earlier on.

Marvel exec Kevin Feige said that they were saddened by Wright's decision, although they have no doubt that Reed's movie will be an excellent one.

"We've been with Edgar for eight years. The disappointing thing for me is not being able to make a movie with him, right now; it's just the personal relationship," he said. "It was amicable and we sat in a room together and said this isn't working. I just wish I or he had figured that out somewhere in the eight years leading up to it."

Of course, Marvel is not one to remain stagnant for long. A lot of directors are eager to get their hands on a Marvel superhero movie, but they decided to go with Reed in the end and Feige is pretty excited to let audiences see what they have created.

"We've done what we've always done, which is block it out and make the best movie possible because it always comes down to the end product. Clearly we believe that we're on the road now with Peyton Reed to the best version of Ant-Man that could have existed," he guaranteed.

Ant-Man will be hitting theaters on July 17, 2015.
