Batman to Appear in Suicide Squad? Video Taken On Set Says Yes

Batman: Arkham Knight

It looks like Batman will be appearing in the "Suicide Squad" movie after all, since several onlookers were able to obtain videos that included him while they were filming in Toronto, Canada.

When Warner Bros announced that Jared Leto's Joker and Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn will be a part of the Suicide Squad, many began to get excited about Batman's involvement in the film, but his role has never been confirmed, according to Variety.

But now, people finally have their answer. In one of the videos, Joker's trademark neon green hair can be seen in the driver's side window, and in another video, Batman sans his cape is riding on top of the villain's swerving vehicle.

Earlier, Latino-Review reporter El Mayimbe managed to shed light what Batman might be doing with the Suicide Squad.

On his Instagram account, he wrote about details concerning the Batman cameo and warned about spoilers: "According to sources, in the film Batman is some sort of big boogeyman that the government REALLY hates."

He said that prior to the events in another DC movie Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, the Joker is actually the only one to ever really meet him and know why he is so important to Amanda Waller.

"They have footage of Batman in action which they watch. There is a bit of dialogue where they say Batman is the key to tracking down all 'the supers.' Very cool stuff," guaranteed Mayimbe.

Aside from those already mentioned, Suicide Squad is comprised of Deadshot played by Will Smith, Deathstroke probably played by Joe Manganiello, Amanda Waller played by Viola Davis, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flagg, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Killer Croc, Adam Beach as Slipknot, Jay Hernandez as El Diablo and Karen Fukuhara as Katana.

"Suicide Squad" will be released in cinemas on August 5, 2016.

Batman will be making another big screen appearance in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," where his character - a superhero who is older, seasoned, and somewhat retired is seen operating from the shadows, which he has done for several years already. It has also been suggested that he is very grim due to the fact that Joker was responsible for the loss of his sidekick.

The rebooted Batman starring Affleck will really be different from Christopher Nolan's Batman in The Dark Knight series, which starred Christian Bale. Affleck will co-star in the film with Henry Cavill as Superman.
