With the cast and crew of "Jurassic World' already starting their global press tour, BadTaste.it caught up with Colin Trevorrow and asked the film director whether he is still up for helming a new installment for the sci-fi film franchise.

"Jurassic Park is like Star Wars. Different directors can give a different taste to each movie," Trevorrow told the site. "I would be involved in some way, but not as director."

With "Jurassic World' being estimated to make a debut of over $100 million at the domestic box office alone, it is expected that another sequel might be happening anytime soon.

Even before the press tour kicked off, actor Chris Pratt had already written a hilarious apology in advance for the things that he could actually say out loud in future interviews.

The "Guardians of the Galaxy' star offered a simple and straightforward message, writing about possibly saying "dumb" things during the tour, referring to his possible blunders as "JurassicGate."

"I want to make a heartfelt apology for whatever it is I end up accidentally saying during the forthcoming ?#"ŽJurassicWorld? press tour," the 35-year-old actor stated. "I hope you understand it was never my intention to offend anyone and I am truly sorry. I swear. I'm the nicest guy in the world."

Anna Faris' husband also added that, in case he says something offensive, this could be caused by fatigue and exhaustion during the tour.

Opening in 3D, 2D and IMAX theaters, "Jurassic World' follows a startling sci-fi adventure that has been set over two decades after the events that took place in the 1993 "Jurassic Park.'

Pratt is joined by Bryce Dallas Howard ("Spider-Man 3'), Judy Greer ("Tomorrowland'), Jake Johnson ("New Girl'), Omar Sy ("X-Men: Days of Future Past'), Irrfan han ("Life of Pi') and Ty Simpkins ("Insidious'), to name a few.

Steven Spielberg, who directed the first two movie in the franchise, joined "Jurassic World' as executive producer.

Last year, Trevorrow dropped some hints about possible "Jurassic World' sequels, saying: "We wanted to create something that would be a little bit less arbitrary and episodic, and something that could potentially arc into a series that would feel like a complete story."

"Jurassic World' is scheduled for a premiere on June 12; its newest trailer can be viewed below.
