Father's Day is on Sunday, June 21. Father's Day is an annual holiday celebrated on the 3rd Sunday of June. The day celebrates fathers, fatherhood, and male parenting. Father's Day first began in July 1908. The day was founded by Grace Golden Clayton who lost her father in a town mining disaster. The disaster known as the Monongah Mining Disaster killed 250 fathers, leaving 1,000 children fatherless. Christianity Daily compiled a list of ten Bible verses to honor fathers.

10 Bible Verses to Honor Dad:

Deuteronomy 1:29-31

2) "Or which one of you, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a serpent?
