Universal Pictures and Legendary Pictures have unveiled the latest "Steve Jobs' trailer with the film being scheduled for an official release in October.

Offering viewers with a detailed glimpse at the backstage scene of three iconic product launches, the movie ends with the 1998 release of the iMac. Through the upcoming film, "Steve Jobs', in which Michael Fassbender plays the Apple co-founder, offers a personal look at the extraordinary man who has greatly contributed to the digital revolution.

In the highly anticipated biopic, Fassbender went through an impressive transformation into the pioneering Apple founder at all stages of his life.

Aside from German-born actor's makeover, wrtier Aaron Sorkin's work also sheds light on the darker side of Jobs, similar to the approach he used in his 2010 film, "The Social Network,' which focused on the creation of Facebook.

The new trailer shows Seth Rogen, who plays Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, criticizing Jobs for supposedly falling short in terms of contribution to the company.

"What do you do?" he asks. "You're not an engineer. You're not a designer. You can't put a hammer to a nail. I built the circuit board, the graphical interface was stolen. So how come 10 times in a day I read, "Steve Jobs is a genius'?"

In response, Fassbender replies: "Musicians play their instruments, I play the orchestra."

In real life, Jobs died from cancer at 56 in October 2011.

The movie also features Kate Winslet as Joanna Hoffman, former marketing chief of Macintosh, and Jeff Daniels as former Apple CEO John Sculley.

Other cast members also include Katherine Waterston as Chrisann Brennan, Jobs' former girlfriend, and Michael Stuhlbarg as Andy Hertzfeld, one of the first few members of the Apple Macintosh development team.

Helmed by Academy Award-winning director Danny Boyle, the biographical drama is penned by multi-awarded screenwriter Aaron Sorkin, who has worked from Walter Isaacson's best-selling Steve Jobs autobiography.

The film's producers include Mark Gordon, Guymon Casady of Film 360, Scott Rudin and Academy Award winner Christian Colson.

Past films that similarly highlighted Jobs' personal and professional life include "Pirates of Silicon Valley' released in 1999 and the 2013 movie titled "Jobs,' starring Ashton Kutcher.

"Steve Jobs' makes its way to cinemas on Oct. 9, 2015. Its latest trailer is available below.
