With several weeks left before the "Fantastic Four' reboot gets released, director Josh Trank has already opened up about what viewers can expect from the upcoming Marvel film.

Entertainment Weekly shared details about Trank's plans and expectations for the movie.

"The audience should expect an epic, massive, huge, multipower slugfest,' the director said. "This movie is big. A lot of stakes."

Producer and co-writer Simon Kinberg had also spoken up about his own feelings of working on such reboot.

"I get the skepticism going into it because the previous movies weren't very good," Kinberg said of the 2005 and 2007 movie versions. "It's a very hard title to crack."

20th Century Fox has recently released a new TV spot for the "Fantastic Four' that, although comprised mainly of footage that was already unveiled, still showed some new glimpses from the Aug. 7 release.

All "Fantastic Four' characters and their extraordinary capabilities, such as Mr. Fantastic's stretching powers, can be seen in the trailer.

"This is our chance to make a difference," Sue Storm says.

While there have been limited information about the upcoming reboot, the new "Fantastic Four' film is expected to follow the origin story of the characters. As Mr. Fantastic and his team do not essentially obtain their powers in the beginning, the movie will draw attention to the events that led to the acquisition of their superpowers.

In an interview with ComicBook.com, "Fantastic Four' reboot writer Mark Millar shared his experience of working on the upcoming movie as a creative consultant.

Although he did not open up about new plot details for the film, he confessed to watching several finished scenes. According to the writer, he was more than pleased with what he saw and told the entertainment news site that the reboot will come as a "good" surprise for the fans.

"I've seen chunks of it but not the complete movie, and it's looking good. What I'm really excited for is to see how many people are surprised by it," Millar said. ""¦The trailer came out and everyone is like "this is really good.' I think it'll surprise people."

All in all, the movie is said to have taken inspiration from the "Ultimate Fantastic Four' comics, thereby offering a contemporary take on Marvel's longest-running team comprised of superheroes.

Centered on four young individuals, they will be teleporting to an alternate universe that will significantly bring on changes to their physical form in ways that are unimaginable.

Marvel's "First Family" will be comprised of Miles Teller as Reed Richards aka Mr. Fantastic, Kate Mara as Sue Storm aka The Invisible Woman, Michael B. Jordan as Johnny Storm aka The Human Torch and Jamie Bell as Ben Grimm aka The Thing.

Toby Kebbell has also joined the cast as Doctor Doom alongside Reg E. Cathey as Dr. Franklin Storm and Tim Blake Nelson as Harvey Elder aka The Mole Man.
