Louis Tomlinson from One Direction is going to be a father. People magazine broke the news on Tuesday, July 14. So, who is the mother of his child? Contrary to pop knowledge, it is not his ex-girlfriend Eleanor Calder. The British boyband singer is expecting his first child with 23-year-old stylist Briana Jungwirth.
"They are both really happy and although they aren't in a relationship, their friendship is extremely strong and they are both really excited about the baby. It's early days and Briana and the baby's health are the most important things right now," said a source to People.
The singer is reportedly looking for housing nearby the mother of his child and has been by her side for every ultrasound check up at the hospital. Tomlinson and Jungwirth's parents recently met up in L.A. during Independence Day weekend. The supportive celebrity dad is an advocate for children's rights and health.
"I want to live in a world where every child can see a child when they're sick. I want every child to have the same chance that I did. Even now, lots of children can't get treatment for basic illnesses. An upset stomach, a cough, things like these can be killers without the right medicine," said 23-year-old Tomlinson in a YouTube promo for action1D.
According to Hollywood Life, Jungwirth works in fashion shoots. The pair first met through mutual friends and began dating in May 2015. Tomlinson and Jungwirth were spotted leaving The Argyle club in Los Angeles on May 4. She was his date to Snoop Dog's album release party at Death by Audio in West Hollywood on May 11.
