Only a day after a Twitter feud between Nicki Minaj and Taylor Swift was brought on by the VMA nominations, Katy Perry also took to social media to share her sentiments on the trending rants between the pop stars.

Confirming that there is "Bad Blood' between her and Swift, Perry took to the microblogging site on Wednesday to tweet the following statement: "Finding it ironic to parade the pit women against other women argument about as one unmeasurably capitalizes on the take down of a woman"¦"

The disagreement between Minaj and Swift started on July 21, when the rapper opened up on Twitter about not receiving a nomination for Video of the Year for her song "Anaconda.'

"If your video celebrates women with very slim bodies, you will be nominated for vid of the year," she wrote.

Swift, who bagged a nomination for her "Bad Blood' music video, clearly took offense and pointed out: "@NICKIMINAJ I've done nothing but love & support you. It's unlike you to pit women against each other. Maybe one of the men took your slot."

The "Blank Space' singer seemingly annoyed Minaj further, which prompted her to respond with: "Huh? U must not be reading my tweets. Didn't say a word about u. I love u just as much. But u should speak on this. @taylorswift13."

Minaj went on to tweet: "@taylorswift13 I'm still confused as to why u just tweeted me when I made it abundantly clear..."

To this, the country-singer-turned-pop-star replied, "@NICKIMINAJ If I win, please come up with me!! You're invited to any stage I'm ever on."

Following the online feud, the "Super Bass' singer clarified her opinion on the VMA nominations with a lengthy post; an excerpt from her note states the following:

"Nothing to do with any of the women, but everything to do with a system that doesn't credit black women for their contributions to pop culture as freely/quickly as they reward others. We are huge trendsetters, not second class citizens that get thrown crumbs. This isn't anger. This is #information."

Meanwhile, Perry is merely the latest celebrity to become involved in the online feud between Swift and Minaj as even reality star Kim Kardashian unintentionally became caught up in the public disagreement and "Breaking Bad' actor Aaron Paul offered to negotiate a peace deal.

The 35-year-old star, who took on the role of Jesse in AMC's hit TV series, tweeted: 'I love you both. How about we all get together and talk this thru? Coffee? Pancakes?? My treat.'

Meanwhile, Kanye West's wife unintentionally became involved in the Twitter fight when she shared a photo from her Vogue Spain shoot and wrote the following caption: 'Imma let you finish but...'

The image only showed Kardashian sipping on a cup of tea; however, Twitter users misinterpreted the post, thinking that the reality star was throwing shade at Swift.

Kim's husband infamously jumped up on the VMAs stage in 2009, took the microphone from the "Shake It Off' singer who had just been honored with the Best Female Video award and gave his own speech that has eventually become more recognized as the 'Imma let you finish' speech.

Meanwhile, other nominees for the coveted Video of the Year award include Beyonce, Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, Mark Ronson and Kendrick Lamar.

The 2015 MTV Video Music Awards will be held on Aug. 30, 2015.
