‘Forza Motorsport 6’ Game play, Updates & Release Date: ‘Fast & Furious’ DLC to Feature Cars from Film Franchise

Game developers Microsoft and Turn 10 Studios have officially announced the details of the "Fast & Furious" car pack for the upcoming racing simulation title "Forza Motorsport 6."

As its title suggests, the DLC contains famous cars from the "Fast & Furious" film series.

As detailed by Xbox Achievements, the pack includes 11 new cars. From American muscle to Japanese imports, gamers will surely be able to recreate their famous racing scenes from the "Fast & Furious" films in the upcoming game.

  •  1970 Ford Escort RS1600
  •  2014 Terradyne3 Gurkha LAPV F5
  •  1963 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport
  •  1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS
  •  1995 Toyota Supra RZ
  •  1999 Nissan Skyline GT-R
  •  2002 Nissan Fairlady Z
  •  2001 Honda S2000

The "Fast & Furious" car pack will be available for those who purchase the Deluxe Edition of "Forza Motorsport 6" for $79.99 or the game's Ultimate Edition for $99.99. These can be purchased from Microsoft's Xbox Store.

The DLC can also be purchased separately by those who wish to get the standalone or standard version of the game which costs $59.99. Microsoft, however, has not yet announced the pricing details of the separate car pack.

Aside from the bundled cars, those who will get the "Forza Motorsport 6" Ultimate Edition will also be able to play the game starting on September 10, five full days before its official release.

But for those who can't wait any longer for the game's release, Microsoft launched on September 1 the demo version of the game, according to Gamespot. It has a download size of 12.67GB and lets gamers try out a wide selection of vehicles from the game's massive roster of 450 cars.

In addition, the demo also features other main aspects of the game such as night racing, wet weather driving, working cockpits and full damage technology. Like the main game, the demo version also runs on 1080p resolution and at 60 frames per second.

The latest installment in the "Forza Motorsport" series is scheduled to debut in North American on September 15. It will arrive in Japan and in Europe on September 17 and 18 respectively.

The game was designed by Turn 10 Studios exclusively for Microsoft's Xbox One console and features a campaign mode that will take up to 70 hours to complete.
