Ronda Rousey has been continuously getting props for her notable skill in the octagon. With record breaking wins in terms of speed and technique, the UFC Women Bantamweight champion has been the center of praise and commendations among her peers and even in news rooms. While her opponents constantly claim to give Ronda Rousey a taste of her first defeat, such never seem to come into fruition - with the latest UFC fighter to fail in the mission, Bethe Correia, experiencing a crushing defeat in the hands of the UFC champ within merely 34 seconds of the first round.

However, the UFC champ does not only excel in the ring. Any fan of action films would definitely recognize Ronda Rousey as she already starred alongside Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Statham and Mel Gibson in "Expendables 3." She was also featured in "Entourage" and "Fast and Furious 7." She is also expected to star alongside Mark Walhberg in "Mile 22" as well as star as herself in the biopic about the lives she and her sister led. The biopic is based on the book "My Fight/Your Fight."

Meanwhile, her appearance in the WWE arena during Wrestlemania 31 with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson definitely boosted the excitement of everyone in attendance. Apart from that, her participation in the confrontation with Triple H and wife Stephanie McMahon upped the thrill of the audience. With Brock Lesnar making a big name in his return to WWE, the sport might be yet another potential avenue for Ronda Rousey to explore.

Adding to the list of her Hollywood projects would be the reboot of "Road House." An 80s cult classic, the film which centered on ultimate macho man Patrick Swayze will now feature Ronda Rousey as the lead star. Given the UFC champ's ability to charm her way through interviews, fans are excited to see if her charisma will extend to an entire film following her every move. Although this is not her first Hollywood project, "Road House" is pegged as her biggest film to date.

"It is a great honor to play a part in celebrating the life of a man that inspired so many," wrote Ronda Rousey on Twitter, referring to the opportunity to play Swayze's character in "Road House." She added, "I couldn't be more grateful to have this opportunity to pay respect to the beloved Patrick Swayze. I promise to work incessantly to make sure this project is a tribute his family and fans can be proud of."

According to Variety, Ronda Rousey's effort to ensure that this film will be recreated properly included a visit to the widow of Swayze to secure her blessing. At the moment, no official release date has been provided for "Road House." Apart from the UFC champ, no other member of the cast has been revealed.
