‘Fallout 4’ Updates, News & Game Play: Developer Bethesda to Provide Regular Content Updates and Season Pass for DLCs for Upcoming Game

Although "Fallout 4" is not scheduled to come out until November, development studio Bethesda is already looking forward to the upcoming game's future content updates.

In fact, the company has already announced its plans for the regular updates and the Season Pass for DLCs that will be released for the game, IGN reported.

As noted by the studio through its official website, gamers can expect to receive regular updates for the upcoming installment in the "Fallout" series once it comes out. These will be released for free and will feature bug fixes as well as enhancements for a better game play experience.

Bethesda even likened the future updates for "Fallout 4"to those for "Skyrim." To refresh gamers' memories, these updates included the legendary mode, mounted combat, kill cams and various visual improvements.

In addition, the studio is also planning on releasing the Creation Kit for players of "Fallout 4." This tool, which Bethesda currently uses for its titles, will allow gamers to make their own mods to the upcoming game.

The Creation Kit will first arrive for the PC edition of "Fallout 4" before heading to the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions.

As for the future DLCs, Bethesda still has no idea what these will contain or feature. But, the studio assured gamers that it will release a Season Pass edition, which will grant players access to all the DLCs once they are released, for only $30.

This seems like a good deal since according to the company, the total cost of the future DLCs when purchased separately will probably cost $40. Also, the Bethesda noted that the first DLC that it will develop for "Fallout 4" will most likely arrive in early 2016.

"To reward our most loyal fans, this time, we'll be offering a Season Pass that will give you all of the 'Fallout 4' DLC we ever do for just $30," the company stated. "Since we're still hard at work on the game, we don't know what the actual DLC will be yet, but it will start coming early next year."

"Based on what we did for 'Oblivion,' 'Fallout 3' and 'Skyrim,' we know that it will be worth at least $40, and if we do more, you'll get it all with the Season Pass," Bethesda added.

According to Gamespot, for 2008's "Fallout 3," the development firm launched five DLCs. Each new pack, such as the "Operation Anchorage," "Broken Steel," "The Pitt," "Mothership Zeta" and "Point Lookout" came with various new additions such as achievements, items and missions.

For this year's game, gamers can probably expect to receive at least the same quality of content updates.

"Fallout 4" is set to hit stores on November 10 and will be available for the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 platforms.
