Those looking to get their hands on the upcoming "Rise of the Tomb Raider" should expect a long gameplay experience.

According to the developer of the game, it could take up to 40 hours for players to finish the latest installment in the "Tomb Raider" reboot series.

Mike Brinker, Crystal Dynamics's lead designer for the game, told Pixel Vulture that "Rise of the Tomb Raider" is significantly longer than its prequel "Tomb Raider," which came out in 2013.

Techno Buffalo noted that the first reboot game featured 11 hours of gameplay. For "Rise of the Tomb Raider," however, its main story can take up to 20 hours to complete. But if gamers want to explore every aspect of the game, then they may end up playing it for almost two straight days.

"Expect to spend around 30-40 hours getting everything done," Brinker told Pixel Vulture. "This is gathering every weapon, ability and completing every side quest. It all comes down to how you want to play through the game."

"Running through the game will take around 15-20 hours," he added. "So expect double the play time collecting everything and exploring every secret tomb."

The designer added that the new game has bigger hub spaces than its prequel. This means gamers will have more areas to explore within the game.

Aside from a bigger environment, Crystal Dynamics also expanded protagonist Lara Croft's skill set. Unlike the previous game which featured around 16 different skills, the sequel has more than 50 abilities that gamers can unlock to level up Croft.

"Rise of the Tomb Raider" is scheduled to come out on November 10 for the Xbox 360 and Xbox One consoles.

Despite being more than a month away from the official launch, major online retailer Amazon has already posted the Season Pass details for the game. Based on the site's listing, the "Rise of the Tomb Raider" Season Pass for the Xbox One can be pre-ordered starting today for $29.99.

Contents of the Season Pass are still unclear but the product's description states that it comes with an extended single-player campaign as well as a feature that will allow gamers to compete with their friends.

Aside from the Season Pass offer, Microsoft also unveiled a new bundle deal for the upcoming "Tomb Raider" game. For $349, gamers can get their hands on a brand new Xbox One console with 1TB hard drive and the copy of "Rise of the Tomb Raider." The bundle also features the "Tactical Survival Kit" Content Pack which contains new outfits and weapon skins for Croft as well as copies of "Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition" and "Tomb Raider."
