‘Heaven Is For Real’ Screening to Be Hosted by Grace Ministries International

Heaven Is for Real

Grace Ministries International has been hosting screenings every last Saturday of every month for the past three years, and this time, the church has prepared a film to reawaken the hope in heaven that Christians hold on to.

On September 27, Grace Ministries International will be hosting a free screening of "Heaven Is for Real' at 7 PM on the 2nd floor of their church building, inviting the church congregation and anyone else who is interested.

"Heaven Is for Real' considers questions about heaven, and exhorts Christians who have been confessing they live for their hope in heaven, but perhaps might have been living restrained by the world instead.

The film, which tells the testimony of a young boy who has gone to and seen heaven for himself, was shown in theaters in April, and since then, it had been #1 in box offices throughout the nation, and received $8.4 million in sales.

The book on which the film was based has also been garnering much popularity, as it was also recognized as a top seller on Amazon, and as a New York Times Best Seller since its first release in 2011.

To summarize the story, Todd Burpo, a pastor, and his family had been living contentedly, though struggling with financial difficulties, when one day his four-year-old son had almost lost his life during an appendectomy. Thankfully, his son Colton survived the near-death experience and was able to recover -- only for the family to discover that he had actually experienced heaven in that short span of time.

Korean subtitles will be available at the screening, as well as cold beverages, coffee, snacks, hot dogs, sandwiches, and boiled eggs. Grace Ministries International also is offering an opportunity for attendees to submit a personal reflection from the screening, from which three will be chosen to be inserted into their next magazine publication.
