A new generation of Duggars has been gracing the headlines as Jessa Duggar-Seewald's newborn son met his cousin baby Israel, Jill Duggar-Dillard's 7-month-old son, through video chat.

"Izzy got to FaceTime his cousin today!" Jessa's husband Ben Seewald tweeted together with a screenshot of the babies' endearing interaction.

The 23-year-old reality TV star and her 20-year-old husband welcomed their first child, Spurgeon Elliott, last Thursday.

"I can't believe he's really ours," she said. "It is so amazing. He's a miracle."

As for Jessa's sister, Jill, she is presently on a mission trip in Central America with husband Derick Dillard and baby Israel, far away from her large clan in their home state of Arkansas. Nonetheless, they managed to send their well wishes to Jessa and Ben.

"Y'all are great parents already! May you raise this little guy in the love and admonition of our Lord," Derick wrote on Instagram. "May you raise this little guy in the love and admonition of our Lord."

Jessa gave birth at her home in Fayetteville, Arkansas, four days after her due date, which was also the Seewald couple's first wedding anniversary.

Now, Jessa and Ben are already considering the possibility of having a second baby as they mentioned about having to adopt in the future.

However, while she revealed that she would prefer their next baby to be adopted, the first-time mother explained that adoption agencies are not allowing parents to adopt when they still have an infant. As such, the Seewald couple may have to wait for at least one more year.

"When I was in labor, I told Ben, 'Babe, we are not having any more kids after this,' " Jessa jokingly said. "I was teasing - we will have more kids. But in that moment of pain, I believed it!"

For now, the Seewald couple is enjoying time with baby Spurgeon Elliott, who weighed in at 9 lbs. 11 oz. and measured 21.5 in. when Jessa gave birth to him at their home in Springdale, Arkansas.

Meanwhile, the upcoming TV special that will focus on Jessa's journey to motherhood as well as Jill's mission trip with her family is set to air this December on TLC.
