A few more weeks to go and "Jill & Jessa: Counting On' is set to begin with the series giving more emphasis on Jill Duggar-Dillard and Jessa Duggar-Seewald's experiences in marriage and motherhood.

The new TLC special will also serve as replacement for the Duggar family's own reality TV show, "19 Kids and Counting,' which was cancelled by the network after reports of Josh Duggar molesting five teenage girls, including younger sisters Jill and Jessa, graced the headlines.

The upcoming special is set to begin airing this December, and TLC has announced that the new episodes will shed light on Jessa's last months of pregnancy as well as "plenty of footage" of her baby boy, Spurgeon Elliot. Fans are also looking forward for the series to include clips of Jessa and her home birth, which led to an ambulance ride to the hospital.

The 23-year-old reality star welcomed her first child on Nov. 5, only a few days after her supposed due date on Nov. 1, which had been her first wedding anniversary with husband, Ben.

As for Jill, she and husband Derick are currently on a mission trip in Central America, where they have been residing in August. The Christian couple is expected to return to the small screen next month as their experiences as missionaries are also being filmed.

The trained midwife recently took to Instagram and posted videos of her little tot, Israel, including one which showed the baby as he crawled on the floor while smiling and playing with a marker. In the second video, she also showed her 7-month-old boy trying to climb the sofa.

The videos come several days after the 24-year-old reality star wrote a letter to Jessa after the latter welcomed her own little bundle of joy.

"Derick, Israel and I are so excited for you and Benji!" Jill wrote, while adding, "I can't believe you have a little one now! It was such a joy to get to be a part of the birth from Central America, thank you. You were a champ!"

Jill's husband, Derick, also took some time to congratulate the new parents and send his well wishes.

"Y'all are great parents already! May you raise this little guy in the love and admonition of our Lord," Derick wrote on Instagram. "May you raise this little guy in the love and admonition of our Lord."

For a more in-depth look at their experiences as parents and parents, the two Duggar sisters' new reality series, "Jill & Jessa: Counting On,' is set to air this December on TLC.
