‘Just Cause 3’ Reviews, Features & Gameplay: Developer Addresses Bugs and Other Issues in ‘Just Cause 3’ for PC

Just Cause 3

"Just Cause 3" only came out a couple of days ago but gamers are already experiencing problems with the PC version of the game.

This prompted developer Avalanche Studios to release a statement addressing the open-world game's flaws. However, the studio noted that it might take some time before a patch will be released.

As reported by Cinemablend, one of the biggest problems that plagued "Just Cause 3" is the log-in issue. Although the game only has a single-player mode, gamers are required to stay online when playing the game.

Avalanche Studios previously explained that it implemented the always-online requirement for the game in order for the company to monitor the gaming activities of the players. However, due to the log-in issues that PC gamers experienced at launch they, many of them were not able to play the game. Instead, they spent an unacceptable amount of time waiting for the game to load.

Also, a lot of PC gamers, specifically those running AMD processor, experienced frequent frame-rate drops while playing the game.

In response, Avalanche Studios immediately issued a public statement a day after the game's official release. Although the company said that it is currently working on resolving the issues, it will not be able to release a patch immediately.

"We know that some of you are encountering some technical issues - we're looking into them all and we're fully committed to providing you the best possible experience," the company wrote in the game's Steam page.

"We know you're going to want specific information on when a patch will land and what will be fixed - we would love to give you that information, and we will as soon as we have it," the studio added. "But right now, a little over one day since we launched, we have huge numbers of players in our enormous game world and we're monitoring all the data coming in."

Avalanche Studios then noted that its development team needs more time to tackle the issues affecting the game. This means that the company will not be able to release a patch immediately. The company also did not provide details as to when gamers can expect to receive a patch.

It seems only the PC gamers of "Just Cause 3" are experiencing problems with the game. So far, there are no reports yet regarding the issues with its consol versions.

"Just Cause 3" officially came out on December 1. Aside from the PC, the game is also available for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles.
