Being nicknamed as the "Cinderella Duggar," fans have been questioning how Jana Duggar is after often being asked to take on babysitting duties for her siblings as well as the children of her older brothers and sisters.

As stated by recent reports, she has been helping out Anna Duggar in caring for her four children while Anna's husband, Josh, completes his time in a faith-based treatment center.

Jana's brother made the decision to spend a long stint at the "school of discipleship" after confessing about his addiction to pornography and faithlessness. It seems, though, that he has asked the help of certain family members to help care for Meredith (4 months), Marcus (2 years), Michael (4 years) and Mackynzie (6 years).

Jana can be seen as Meredith's babysitter in a video that her sister, Jessa Duggar-Seewald, recently shared on Instagram. In the clip, Jana tries to sing as she cradles Josh and Anna Duggar's sleeping baby.

Being the oldest Duggar daughter, Jana is expected to have the most experience of caring for babies, and her parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar "have totally transitioned a lot of their parental responsibilities" onto her, such as cleaning, cooking and caring for the younger ones.

When it comes to romantic involvement with people, Jim Bob previously opened up about how her eldest daughter has not yet come to settle down with a particular suitor.

"Jana is one of the prettiest girls in the world and one of the sweetest girls," Jim Bob said in an interview with People Magazine. "There have been a lot of guys who have been interested in her, I have gone to hear about each one, and so far she hasn't felt that is the way the Lord is leading."

As part of the Christian patriarchy movement, the Duggar family is expected to encourage their female members to remain under the authority of the male figures in their lives until their authority is transferred over to their husband.

Jim Bob's clan is reportedly "friends and acolytes" of former Vision Forum president Dough Phillips, who has been recognized as a highly influential leader of the Christian patriarchy movement. Phillips previously honored Michelle Duggar with a "Mother of the Year" award.

In addition, Phillips has reportedly encouraged his followers to support the "stay-at-home-daughters" movement in order to develop "advanced homemaking" skills until they get married.

In contrast, one of Jim Bob's married daughters, Jill Duggar-Seewald, is presently in a mission trip with husband Derick and her baby Israel in Central America. The trained midwife previously regularly take to the family's blog as well as to other social media sites to post updates about her family's experiences in the long-term trip.

She and her sister, Jessa Duggar-Seewald, are expected to make a return on the small screen when their upcoming TLC special titled "Jill & Jessa: Counting On' makes a premiere this December.
