K-LOVE Fan Awards: Lauren Daigle, Danny Gokey, and for King & Country Win Double Awards

Danny Gokey, Lauren Daigle, and for King & Country won double awards at K-LOVE's Fan Awards 2016 celebrated at the Grand Ol' Opry House in Nashville. The singers took away six of the 12 trophies at the Christian music awards.

This was a fun-filled evening featuring lots of comedy and Christian artists, and was hosted by TV anchor Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Christian singer Matthew West who also received the Best Lyrics award.

Daigle won the Artist of the Year and Female Artist of the Year, and her song "First" was nominated in the Song of the Year category.

Danny Gokey received Male Artist of the Year award and Breakout Single, while for King & Country got the Best Live Show and Group/Duo of the Year.

The awards are decided by fans who vote for their favorite artists for nomination and also choose winners among them.

Chris Tomlin won the Song of the Year for "Good Good Father," and Matthew West took home the award for Best Lyric in "Grace Wins."

Francesca Battistelli got the Worship Song of the Year "Holy Spirit."

Movie War Room made it in the awards show for Film/Television Impact, Adam LaRoche for Sports Impact, and Gary Thomas' book "Sacred Marriage" for Book Impact.

The Ultimate Experience Weekend for the Awards night began with a full blast on June 3, with a concert at Gaylord Opryland Resort, which featured performances from Big Daddy Weave, Britt Nicole, Jeremy Camp, and the likes.

Both artists and fans took part in K-Love Fan Awards Run For Love 5K at 8 am, to raise funds for residential care and support for Haiti's orphans through Hands & Feet project.

Singer and songwriter Josh Wilson gave heartfelt speech and encouragement to the fans on the morning of the K-LOVE Fan Awards weekend.

He performed on his hits like "Pushing Back The Dark," "I Refuse," and "That Was Then, This Is Now," and closed with instrumental "Amazing Grace," to a loud applause by delightful fans.
