New Life Vision Church held a groundbreaking ceremony for its new church site on July 23. The new building will be built behind the Costco which is located at the intersection of Los Feliz Boulevard and San Fernando Road, at the location where New Hope Chapel was once located (4226 E. Verdant St., Los Angeles, CA 90039).

The church stated that out of the two new buildings that will be built, a multi-purpose building which will contain the education department will be constructed first. This multi-purpose building will be some 48,000 square feet large, with a small sanctuary, classrooms, a gym, a cafeteria, and an intercessory prayer room, among other things. The second building that will be constructed afterwards will be some 37,000 square feet large, and the main sanctuary will have a 1,130 seat capacity. This building will also contain a book cafe, church offices, and other rooms. The parking lot will fit about 1,100 cars at once.

"I hope that this will be a place where many souls are saved, where children grow in the Word of God, and that it becomes a channel of blessing to Los Angeles and the community," said Rev. Joshua Choon-Min Kang, the senior pastor of New Life Vision Church.

554 church members have been participating in a 24-hour intercessory prayer relay since June 6, and will continue until the completion of the buildings.
