Churches in the South Bay area in Southern California have come together yet again this summer to give back to the community.

South Bay Mission Church, Shalom Church, Faith Presbyterian Church, Crosslife (the English ministry of Gardena Presbyterian Church), and The Branch (the English ministry of Podowon Baptist Church) have combined efforts to donate 110 new backpacks to the Lawndale School District, and 90 new backpacks to Olive Crest, a non-profit that takes care of foster care children, which were delivered in early August at a backpack drive that was held at William Anderson Elementary School.

This is the second summer these churches have partnered together for this effort. Pastors of these five churches have also collaborated on multiple occasions for other efforts, including going on a joint overseas mission trip.
