Woori Church of New York will be on a mission trip from December 27 to January 2 in Haiti. The church, after starting its Haiti mission trips in 2013, has chosen the busiest time of the year during the holiday season to embark on the mission trip, carrying the love and gifts of Christmas to the Haiti natives.

This year, the mission team comprised of 13 people, and the team will be participating in relief efforts and evangelism, particularly to orphans. The church prepared gifts for the orphans in Haiti on December 18, and the gifts include letters and a photo of the members of Woori Church.

"The orphans must actually spend the end of the year, which includes the Christmas and New Year holidays, alone," said Won Tae Cho, the senior pastor of Woori Church. "During a time when there are less people visiting these places, we have been planning short term mission trips to share the love of Christmas each year."
