Hmong teenagers from Fresno visited Los Angeles once again this year ahead of Christmas Day and moved people with their worship. On December 20, Only Jesus Mission Church in Koreatown, Los Angeles hosted a music night during which 15 Hmong teens led worship, performed a body worship, and demonstrated a traditional Hmong dance.

The Hmong people live in the mountainous regions bordering China, Vietnam, Laos, and Thailand. Though Hmong soldiers fought together with the U.S. military during the Vietnam War, Hmong people faced severe persecution in their own land after the U.S. military withdrew its forces. Currently, about 260,000 Hmong individuals are estimated to reside in the U.S., and some 60,000 of them live in Fresno.
