"And no one pours new wine into old wineskins. Otherwise, the new wine will burst the skins; the wine will run out and the wineskins will be ruined. No, new wine must be poured into new wineskins" (Luke 5:37-38).
Lord, who allows us to enjoy the abundant grace of the Gospel!
Praise You, Lord, for allowing us to throw away our old, traditional, hypocritical behaviors so that we may enjoy the living Gospel.
We believe that the only way to enjoy abundant grace is to meet Jesus Christ. Allow us to be deeply moved by Your grace as we meet Jesus and receive forgiveness of our sins. Allow us to be confident that we are His child. Help us not to be locked by the traditional rules to stay "holy" before You. Instead, allow us to keep our heart clean and new as Your grace overflows in us.
We look forward to all of the things that You will work in our life. We want to be the new wineskins and keep overflowing the grace of the gospel. Let us walk with You, Lord. Let us enjoy Your miracles. We pray in Jesus' name. Amen.
