The location for the next round of eliminations following the Hollywood Week was revealed in a report published in American Idol Net.

"With less than a month to go, the countdown to the semi-finals is on! The theme is Motown and the location is Detroit, Michigan. That's right - motor city will be hosting the all-important phase of the competition, similar to sin city in season 12," the website cited.

The announcement made a huge impact to fans and followers of the American Idol. This is due to the fact that the show's home network, FOX Entertainment, has never taped or aired any of show's episodes outside Las Vegas or Los Angeles. Hence, the alleged decision to shake things up in terms of the show's venue will mark a significant change.

Meanwhile, The Idol Pad also released a list earlier this year, which reportedly revealed the Top 24 aspiring artists who made it through the season's most recent round of elimination.

The Idol hopefuls included in the top 12 female lists include Adanna Duru, Alexi Gomez, and Jackie "Jax" Cole. Fans of Joey Cook, Katherine Winston, Loren Lott, and Lovey James need not worry as well since these ladies made the cut. Rounding up the list of females who are reportedly part of the top 24 are Tyanna Jones and Shaina "Shi" Scott.

American Idol hopeful Maddie Walker, who also auditioned in AI Season 13, and Sarina-Joi Crowe, who tried her luck in three different seasons before, finally made it to the top 24.

The male aspirants who made it into top 24 list this season include Adam Ezegelian, Clark Beckham, Daniel Seavey, Trevor Douglas Haueisen and Mark Andrew Pudas.

Idol hopefuls Nick Fradiani, Jr., Qaasim Middleton, Quentin Alexander, Riley Bria and Rayvon Owen also made the list. Michael Simeon Smith and Savion Wright, who both tried out for the show's Season 13, also earned a spot in the final 24 this year.

The show will be taping in Detroit's Fillmore Theater on February 19 as well as on March 4 and March 5, as posted by On Camera Audiences in a bid to notify interested fans on the release date of the tickets needed to be part of the live audience.

No official announcement regarding the aforementioned details has been released by the studio or any official formally associated with the American Idol 2015 show.
