The finale for American Idol Season 14 is getting nearer by the day and fans of the show could not wait to see who brings home the crown this time around. Unfortunately, this also means saying goodbye to the contestants one by one as an Idol hopeful gets eliminated every week. While she had shown remarkable maturity and talent throughout the competition despite being one of the youngest among the contestants, the American Idol community bids goodbye to Tyanna Jones as she gets eliminated and fails to make her way to the Top 4, according to Cartermatt.com.

Battling it out with Rayvon Owen, who once again found himself in the bottom two this week, Jones was the Idol contestant sent home after the former was carried by his Twitter fans onto the Top 4. Despite the shocking eliminated, Jones shared that she had a hunch she'd be going home that night. "I knew I was going home and I was totally OK with it," she shared with Billboard. "I would have loved to have stayed and performed some more, but it was my time to go home," she added.

Meanwhile, Owen described the elimination round as "bittersweet," adding that he treated Jones like family. "It's such a bittersweet thing," he shared. "She's my little sister, such a beautiful spirit and so mature. Imagine how she's going to be when she's my age!"

As for Jax Cole, another Idol contestant, she described Jones as her "bigger sister" and commended the 17-year-old's mature demeanor and outlook in life. "She's beyond her years in so many ways," shared Jax. "She's like my bigger sister and I love her so much. It's upsetting that she's leaving, but I'm not worried for her at all. She has an incredible fan base back home. She's going to be a legend in this business."

Nick Fradiani agreed with Cole's description of Jones and revealed that while they will be missing the high school student, it was fortunate that they will see her again after a week. "Luckily she's only gone for a week and I'll miss her for that week," Fradiani shared. "When I'm talking to her, it feels like I'm talking to an adult. She might be the most gifted singer I've ever been around who is her age. When I was her age, I was goofing off at school," the Top 4 Idol singer added.

It appears, however, that Clark Beckham took Jones' elimination the worst. "I was really close with Tyanna and her mom," he disclosed. "I hung out with them, ate with them, prayed with them and sang with them. This hurts the most of any cut for me because we were so close."

"She was our little sister that we bugged and made fun of, and then she came right back at us. She's churchy like I am, and we have a great connection. I love her with all my heart and I'm going to miss her, but she'll be back in a week," Beckham shared.
