▲Ongijangee 20th anniversary concert

Ongijangee that is loved by not only from children but also the elderly is coming to Seattle. Ongijangee will hold it’s concert on April 24 7:30 p.m. at Beautiful Church.

Ongijangee is a praise ministry that began in 1987. The beautiful harmonies that spring up from each member’s exuberant spirituality deliver the listeners a tranquil emotion. Till now they have released total of 15 albums in Korean and on the other hand have released 4 Japanese worship collection album for the goseplization of Japan. Korean American churches within America also sing many praise songs of Ongijangeee therefore their praise and voice is familiar.

The name ‘Ongijangee’ came from 1 Chronicles 4:23 which relatives of Judah comes out meaning ‘praise’ and records the history of how this descendants all became Ongijgangee. In the early stage of Ongijangee they have showed semi classic and passed by music that is pop with exquisite harmony and now currently shows the image of a vocal group that is powerful yet sweet.

They are an amateur community like a professional with prosperous activities of 130 domestic performances and 90 international tours. 90% of Ongijangee songs are original work and till now there are many songs of Ongijangee sung in many church.

Currently Ongijangee is on tour in America. “Through our ministry just like we did in Korea, Japan we wanted to deliver the gospel to Korean American Diaspora within America. We wish to have a precious time of praising and sharing grace,” said Ongijangee.
