¡ãJAMA President Dr. John C. Kim
The Virginia Korean Baptist Church celebrating the 36th Anniversary held a special revival festival from April 11-13. The revival which took place with the theme ¡®Vision Community Together with 3 Generation¡¯ had invited JAMA President Dr. John Kim. Dr. Kim has written ¡®Why me¡¯, ¡®To Fulfill God¡¯s Wish¡¯ and is a prominent visionary speaker that provides powerful challenge and vision to not only the young adults but to all Christians in this generation.

Dr. Kim has also spoken a powerful challenging message at this gathering. Dr. Kim passionately spoke about the Fulton Street Revival in New York which first began in 1857 with 6 men who have gathered daily to pray and within a few months resulted in more than 50,000 individuals praying daily, at around the same time in Philadelphia the repentance movement and fire of revival spread in New Jersey resulted in an event which 60,000 individuals accepted Jesus just over a few weeks, and through the 3rd great awakening movement that occurred in U.S. the seed of the gospel reached Korea and challenged the Virginia Korean Baptist Church to hold this repentance movement gathering.

And at the occasion provided especially for the youth and young adults he emphasized the importance of living a life centered on God and to have the vision for God¡¯s kingdom.

¡°I have seen professors of communistic leanings theory to train distinguished students 30-40 years ago. Those students who were trained at that time are now currently working in major newspapers not only in U.S. but all over the world. We should repent and pray together for the future generations of all nationality not only Korean American second generation but also Caucasian, African American to grow as children of God with God¡¯s vision so that the whole world can become the Kingdom of God,¡± asserted Dr. Kim.
