Geo Gwang Korean Baptist church of Virginia Joy Kids Town held the 2008 spring semester ceremony of receiving diploma and presentation on May 10 from 10 a.m. till 12:30 p.m. at the education center.
There were 37 children who received certificate together with a medal at the spring semester of Joy Kids Town. And had time of presenting their Korean and children¡¯s song they have learned through Saturday school.
Especially greeting Mother¡¯s Day the advanced class children wrote a letter to their mother in Korean and by reading it out loud touched their parent¡¯s heart.
The Geo Gwang Korean Baptist Church holds Saturday schools twice annually in spring, fall for 12 weeks, this years fall semester will begin on September 6.
It is for children from 3 to younger than 12 the registration fee is $60.
