All college students anticipate their glorious day to throw up their tassels and receive a diploma or two in the festive graduation ceremony. Completing one¡¯s study for their major in itself, of course, is a great privilege. For spiritual leaders, however, there is something incomparable and almost overwhelming emotions brought on through one¡¯s discipleship: The fruits of how one has grown in their spiritual leadership to leave behind their spiritual sons and daughters.

The KCCC members can reminiscence, the crisp air of early dawn to the morning prayer meeting refreshes one¡¯s heart. Even the memories of struggle in one¡¯s prayer through the tumultuous weather conditions to stand strong for one¡¯s campus cannot be taken away from one¡¯s heart.

Another huge memorial in a KCCC graduating senior¡¯s heart comes from the witnessing meeting time usually during the lunch hours. The friendly faces in the beginning of the year turn sometimes angry if not annoyed as the students prepare for midterms and finals. There are rejections that brought disappointments and even pain in one¡¯s heart, but all in all leading one to learn the importance of one lost soul and how one may continue to share the gospel as he or she graduates to enter the REAL world in their careers and within their families.

Cell group Bible studies brought not only the ever-satisfying spiritual nourishment, but also precious accountability to whom one can share all kinds of burdens in daily life. Through the weekly Open Chapel, one was recharged as he or she was brought into the place of worship. Every summer was filled with endless testimonies as mission project waited for them every year to experience God like no other and to fully let His love flow unto the souls all around the world.

Where would you be able to dig up such treasures of the past? On the Friday of May 16th, 2008 at 10PM, Berendo Street Baptist Church will be filled with such graduating seniors who lived their lives out as spiritual leaders on their campuses. A special night, Seniors Graduation Gethsemane Prayer, is prepared for them to not only to commemorate their commitment to God¡¯s Kingdom but to send them out to the world with a renewal of commitment for the fulfillment of the Great Commission.

To follow up the prayer meeting, KCCC Annual Banquet with the theme ¡®The Way Forward¡¯ will be held in Pacific Palms Resort on the Sunday of May 18th, 2008 at 6PM with the fee of $50.

Graduation is a merely a new step to the next level. All the student leaders who were trained are sent out to the local churches, work places, and the families. Once again, KCCC is sending out spiritual leaders to the blue ocean, where so many ministry opportunities await them. There will surely be another upgrade to the workforce for Jesus Christ.
