Why 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them' Might Just Top 'Harry Potter'

There are three very good reasons why "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" just might be better than the "Harry Potter" movie series.

The first reason is that genius wordsmith J.K. Rowling, who penned all seven "Harry Potter" books is writing the script. "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" will mark the renowned author's screenwriting debut, according to Inverse, and fans can surely expect the same magic she wove in her books and onto the big screen.

Some of fans' favorite dialogs in her books include the witty repartee between best friends Harry and Ron:

"Death's got an Invisibility Cloak?" Harry interrupted again.

"So he can sneak up on people," said Ron. "Sometimes he gets bored of running at them, flapping his arms and shrieking ..."

In the final book, Ron finally returns to Harry and Hermione's camp after an epic spat, and the two talk:

"You've sort of made up for it tonight," said Harry. "Getting the sword. Finishing off the Horcux. Saving my life."

"That makes me sound a lot cooler than I was," Ron mumbled.

"Stuff like that always sounds cooler than it really was," said Harry. "I've been trying to tell you that for years."

The next reason is that the film will be using award-winning actors. Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint,  Emma Watson, and the rest of the young cast of "Harry Potter" were all newbies in the acting field, although they did a spectacular job portraying their characters.

But having Eddie Redmayne star as magizoologist Newt Scamander in "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" sets the bar quite high for the film, especially since "The Theory of Everything" star just won a Best Actor Oscar for his role as Dr. Stephen Hawking.

He will even be joined by Irish actor Colin Farrell, who has showcased his acting chops in the television series "True Detective" and films such as "In Bruges" and "Total Recall." Then there's Ezra Miller, who was Watson's and Logan Lerman's co-star in the coming-of-age movie "The Perks of Being a Wallflower."

Last but not the least, "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" will be set in Prohibition-era New York, and it would be extremely fun to see wizards enjoying flappers and jazz clubs. People have grown so accustomed to wizards living in London that American fashion, culture, and lingo would be an exciting change.

The movie will hit theaters on November 18, 2016.
