Disney's ‘Shake It Up’ Star Zendaya Graduates From Oak Park High School In Class of 2015

"Shake It Up' actress Zendaya graduated from Oak Park high school in Oak Park, California on Thursday, June 11. She is a singer, actress, dancer, and model. 18-year-old Zendaya completed high school through the school's independent studies program. The teen celebrity took to social media to share her accomplishments with her fans.

"Shout out, not just to all the 2015 grads but to the soon to be! Please remember knowledge is one of the most powerful gifts we have the privilege of receiving...don't take that for granted. To every soon to be grad, know that you CAN do it! (if I can get through it then anyone can)," wrote Zendaya. "It's a long road, so many things will pose as obstacles in your way and at times the end seems further and further away, but please remember the importance of that beautiful mind you have and all the limitless powers you hold. All my love #sorryforgettingdeep."

Zendaya posted a photo of herself standing between an oversized 2015 sign on Instagram on Thursday. She wore a gold colored cap and gown with her straight brown hair styled down. She accessorized for the special night with two large silver hoop earrings and a silver ring. Three colorful floral leis hung around her neck along with a necklace made from beads and leaves.

"Anyway.....IM AN OFFICIAL GRADUATE YALL!!!!!!!!!" tweeted an excited Zendaya on Thursday night to her 5.5 million Twitter followers. The single tweet received 26,275 Favorites and 6,855 Retweets. The 18-year-old actress also updated her Twitter cover to a photo of her holding her newly minted diploma.

Her friend Taylor Swift, tweeted a photo of Zendaya congratulating her on her achievement while adding a sweet note that read, "#ProudofYou." Earlier that morning, Zendaya tweeted that she did not know anyone at her graduation rehearsal. She thanked her graduating class for cheering her on when her name was announced by the speaker.
