Chris Pratt confirmed news that he is on board for "Jurassic World' 2 in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. Pratt will reenact the role of Velociraptor trainer Owen Grady. 35-year-old Pratt publicly thanked everyone for their support on his Facebook wall on the film's opening night. The $150 million budget film premiered on Friday, June 12.
"I am [signed on]. They have me for I think 38 movies or something," said Pratt.
Pratt also revealed that he shared some of his ideas for the sequel to writers. He said that he did not want to make "another island movie or another theme park movie." He dished that the genetic scientists at Jurassic World "won't always be the only people that can clone a dinosaur." Pratt said that his ideas might be introduced by the film's character, Dr. Wu.
Pratt seems genuinely interested in not only acting, but in the making of the sequel. His ideas will shape the direction of new movies in the 'Jurassic' franchise. He knows that there is a lot more to explore in the existing story. The technology that allowed scientists at Isla Nublar to create Indominus Rex might go "open source." He is excited that the sequel will expand the imagination of "every young person who loved these movies."

Box Office Mojo reports that "Jurassic World' made an total of $511,800,000 as of Sunday, June 14. It made an estimated $204,600,000 in domestic box office sales and $307,200,000 in foreign countries.
