After spending several years together working on four movies in a single franchise, "The Hunger Games" lead stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, and Liam Hemsworth all got very emotional after they wrapped up production for "Mockingjay Part 2."

Parts 1 and 2 were actually shot simultaneously within a span of 155 days, and they travelled to Atlanta to Paris and East Berlin just to finish the two movies.

The process might have been a gruelling one, given all the action scenes required in the movie. However, when they finished filming, Lawrence and her co-stars felt a somewhat bittersweet relief.

"It was so emotional that I was completely numb and dead inside," Lawrence, who plays Katniss Everdeen told Entertainment Weekly.

"It felt really weird," added Josh Hutcherson, who plays Katniss' teammate and love interest Peeta Mellark.

Meanwhile, Liam Hemsworth, who plays Katniss' best friend Gale Hawthorne cheekily reveals that he and Hutchinson were drunk when they wrapped up the final scenes, since they finished off a bottle of scotch just the previous evening.

"Then (the next day) we came to the set because Jen and Woody (Harrelson) had a last scene together and we wanted to watch the last couple takes," narrated Hutcherson.

Things then got really weird after that. "Then they called wrap," he continued, "and we kind of sat there on the steps in this room and we just held each other..."

"Mockingjay" director Francis Lawrence said that they even managed to get a picture of the four of them right after wrap was called. "You can't see their faces, but you just see them all hugging," he shared.

As a celebration, they had a mini party inside the courthouse in East Berlin where they were shooting. They opened up a bunch of champagne and the whole cast and crew toasted to all of their hard work.

Looking back, Lawrence cannot believe that they acted the way they did after filming "Mockingjay."

"And then a week later we were all together and we thought, 'Was it weird that we got so dramatic?'" she said.

"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2" will open in theaters on November 20.

The last film will show how Katniss, her friends, and her supporters will take down the Capitol and abolish the dominion they have over all the districts. At the same time, they will try to save Peeta, who appears to have been brainwashed by President Snow.
