Chinese American student on a college campus joked about how Koreans would always begin their day at 5am every day at church to go to early morning prayer or early dawn prayer. However, this is not some stereotype but stereotypes actually exist for a reason regardless of whether it is good or bad.
The first month of 2014 is already coming to a close and many Korean churches in Southern California have begun to have roughly month long special morning prayer sessions to start off the new year. Global Mission Church, LA Onnuri Community Church, and many other ministries have begun to hold such times for intercessory prayer.
Brothers and sisters have already begun visiting their churches before going to work to come before the Lord with new year commitments and personal hardships.
