Singer Taylor Swift is slowly building up anticipation for her "Bad Blood" music video. Swift is infamous for crafting songs about personal relationships, problems and experiences. Although, she did not name-drop, she revealed in an interview with Rolling Stone, that "Bad Blood" was inspired by a female competitor. She began revealing on social media which celebrity guests will star in the video on Thursday, May 7. She confirmed more stars in the lineup on Saturday, May 16.

Swift posted black and white promotional photos for the "Bad Blood" music video on her official Instagram, Facebook, Tumblr, and Twitter accounts. It stars Taylor Swift as Catastrophe, Selena Gomez as Arsyn, Cindy Crawford as Headmistress, Martha Hunt as Homeslice, Cara Delevingne as Mother Chucker, Mariska Hargitay as Justice, Ellen Pompeo as Luna, Jessica Alba as Domino, Serayah as Dilemma, Karlie Kloss as Knockout, Kendrick Lamar as Welvin Da Great, Lena Dunham as Lucky Fiori, Hailee Steinfeld as The Trinity, Ellie Goulding as Destructa X, Gigi Hadid as Slay-Z, Hayley Williams as The Crimson Curse, Zendaya as Cut-Throat, and Lily Aldridge as Frostbyte. The photos have bold images of celebrities in themed poses and outfits with blood-red splatters on the poster edges. It was directed by Joseph Kahn and produced by Taylor Swift.

"Sometimes the lines in a song are lines you wish you could text-message somebody in real life. "I would just be constantly writing all these zingers - like, 'Burn. That would really get her,' said 25-year-old Swift. "And I know people are going to obsess over who it's about, because they think they have all my relationships mapped out. But there's a reason there are not any overt call-outs in that song. My intent was not to create some gossip-fest. I wanted people to apply it to a situation where they felt betrayed in their own lives."

She shared that the cat fight was not about a man, but was strictly about business affairs that became personal. Swift said that the other woman attempted to sabotage her tour by trying to buy out Swift's crew members. Swift, who describes herself as non-confrontational did not fight with the unnamed woman, but is awkwardly avoiding her.
